Because of her wide and varied knowledge of local government administration, Julie Brown distinguished herself in October of 1999 by being chosen (from amongst dozens of candidates) to serve on the 8-member staff of LexCall, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government's Customer Service Call Center. Since 1999, Mrs. Brown has assisted over 37,500 callers to the LexCall Office by either directly answering the caller's question, or referring the caller to the proper LFUCG Division, or initiating one of the over 20,000 'Service Requests' she has made to the various UCG Divisions by way of the computerized LexCall Service Request Program
On December 7, 2001, Julie Brown was certified by the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet to become a Fayette County P.V.A. Candidate.
